How I Built Widget #4
I first made a 2D sketch on inventor and made sure all the the dimensions are correct and I also made it on a side where I have to made the least amount of extrusions so make it less complex.
I then extruded the sketch out by one inch, and once again made sure all the dimensions are correct. As well as made sure the way it was being extruded was correct.
I once again created a sketch and selected the surface I wanted to edit. I created dimensions and checked the measurements are correct.
Then I selected that sketch and extruded it but made sure I extruded it backwards and that it was cutting out rather then creating more material.
I then saved it and put it through the maker-bot program and scaled it to the correct size, decided which side would have the best out come to print on.
Finally I saved it to a flash drive and put it into a 3D printer and started printing.
Finally I took the widget off the 3D printer and made sure all the measurements were correct.
